Santa Catarina-based bakery equipment manufacturer presents a solution that offers even greater precision for culinary productions that use dry, granulated products. Two other machines already consolidated in the portfolio will also be on display at the fair
For the 12th time, Sigamaq, a manufacturer of equipment and solutions for the bakery sector, has confirmed its presence at the International Bakery, Confectionery and Food Business Fair, Fipan, which will take place from July 23 to 26 at Expo Center Norte, in São Paulo (SP). And it is at the event, considered one of the largest in the segment in Latin America, that the Santa Catarina-based company will launch its newest machine: the Ingredient Doser. The equipment’s proposal is to bring more agility, food safety and precision to the production of recipes that include dry, granulated products in their composition.
“Our expertise is focused on the post-oven stage, but we have a reading that, in general, the bakery market increasingly demands innovation and automation in processes. Our investment in the Ingredient Doser is to meet this demand and to bring more rigor to the dosage of ingredients in large-scale food manufacturing”, explains Lucas Pottmayer, CEO of Sigamaq.
The machine features IoT technology, the Industrial Internet of Things, and has cutting-edge software capable of storing up to 99 different recipes. Production data can also be sent to the company’s management system, in technology projects developed by Pottmayer IT, a Sigamaq partner company.
Its ergonomic structure, made entirely of stainless steel, allows constant visual monitoring of the entire weighing cycle – which can also be adjusted as needed on the touch screen panel. Compact, the Sigamaq Ingredient Dispenser has a storage capacity of 25 kg of ingredients per recipe and has six additional reservoirs, totaling a capacity of 150 kg of raw material. In addition, it can be customized, for example, for up to 10 reservoirs.
The customization of the equipment, in fact, is one of its distinguishing features. “We can develop the project according to the client’s needs. In other words, if a given company requires some type of additional automation in the dosing system, we can provide these adjustments – just like with any equipment, whether from Sigamaq or not”, reinforces Lucas.

For the company’s CEO, participating in Fipan and launching a piece of equipment on the agenda is an opportunity to reach new clients and strategic partners: more than 58,000 professionals from the bakery, confectionery, pizzeria, coffee, ice cream and food service sectors attend the event each year. “Fipan is a showcase and opens doors for many businesses. Innovation has always been a focal point of the agenda and it is also our driving force. We expect that, once again, our participation will yield good results for both Sigamaq and our current and future clients”, highlights Lucas.
In addition to the Ingredient Dispenser, the company will also exhibit its Complete Automatic Set, consisting of an Anti-Mold Application Tunnel, Siga 4000 Slicer, Automatic Packaging Machine, Automatic Stripping Machine, Sealer and Turntable, which provides greater productivity in the post-oven process of various types of bread, with low labor and greater profitability. And the Semi-Automatic Stripping Machine, which can be useful in several segments beyond baking. Technical details about this equipment and Sigamaq’s complete portfolio will be available at the stand.
At Fipan, Sigamaq’s stand is located on streets G8 and H7. More information about the event is available at www.fipan.com.br.
